2. Start conducting stay interviews
A stay interview is similar to an exit interview: the difference being that stay interviews are given to employees who are still employed at your company. Stay interviews are conducted by managers to help a company understand why an employee might stay with a company. This is a great way to find out what your employees enjoy about working for your company and what they might want to change.
Using employee engagement software is a perfect way to conduct a stay interview. It will allow you to engage with employees, track their responses, and monitor changes in employee sentiment over time. It provides a central location for storing all the feedback your stay interviews provide.
3. Measure your eNPS Score
Your eNPS score, or employee net promoter score, is a little known but incredibly effective way to measure employee engagement. An eNPS score measures what percentage of your employees would actively endorse or recommend your workplace to people they know. An eNPS score separates your employees into three categories: detractors, passives, and promoters.
Your eNPS score is calculated by subtracting the percent of promoters your company has from the percent of detractors you have, (passives don’t count in your score). Companies with reports of high employee engagement usually report around +50 for their eNPS score.
An eNPS score is a specific type of employee survey. Where an employee satisfaction survey is more focused on finding answers to broad questions, an eNPS score is about finding out whether your employees would recommend your company.

Remember, technology should be used as a support for regular human resources efforts, not as a replacement.
