With more than 17 years of expertise in strategic management, business process reengineering, program/project management organizational change, and business development, Sandy regularly leads corporate-wide strategic initiatives. He has a strong foundation in business analysis and an understanding of operational challenges resulting from new strategies. He also has extensive experience in the high tech, hospitality, media and government industries with consistent delivery of significant business value and sales on mission critical projects.

A People Development Specialist, degree qualified with 25 years working within the lifestyle industries of hospitality, leisure and tourism gaining experience in business operations and human resources.

A Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and Chartered Member of the CIPD who plays an active part in the hospitality sector. Edward is a past chair and committee member of FLIGHT (Future Leaders in Global Hospitality and Tourism), Member of the Trainers Learning Skillnet panel (Ireland) and a Bacchus Society Mentor of the year winner at Oxford Brookes University. Edward is a member of the Hospitality Apprenticeship Board who’s remit is overseeing the external quality assurance (EQA) of endpoint assessment.

Edward has been with Jurys Inn & Leonardo Hotels since 1999. The organisation has always had a good reputation for its learning offering within the hotel sector and has been a good aid for recruitment and retention. The organisation has been using blended learning solutions since 2012 when we first development our first learning management system. The mix of face to face, live web, online or MOOC delivery has been very successful historically. Looking forward to reopening our hotels in the UK and Ireland the focus and time available for training and development has changed. As a new user of Beekeeper the ‘Leapp’ will form a key role in how we communicate a return and re-induc team members into the business.
