Customers love our easy-to-use video upload feature to connect and inform entire organizations about what’s going on internally, including onboarding, new processes, company updates, and much more (a few of which we’ll highlight in this article). Previously, this feature was only available on the web version of the Beekeeper app, but we’ve made it available for Android and iOS mobile versions as well.

How it works
The process is the same as the desktop version, just with the added flexibility of mobile. Videos can be selected from your mobile phone’s camera roll, or you can record a video on the spot. When a new video is recorded, it’s also saved to the camera roll in case you want to post at a later date or edit your videos.
A thumbnail is automatically generated, and a play button is overlaid to indicate the video attachment. Tapping the thumbnail opens a full-screen preview where you can either play the video, click the “remove” button to remove the video from the post, or the “dismiss” button to close the preview window. Then proceed with posting like you normally would.
At Beekeeper, we upload videos regarding important security updates and messages from our CEO. Our Switzerland office posts videos of their lunchtime workouts and shares with the U.S. office in a bit of healthy competition. Now it’s your turn to try it out—don’t be afraid to get creative.
