The first half of 2020 has been a time of tremendous growth and accomplishment for us here at Beekeeper. We’re excited to have closed our Series B extension that gives us an additional $10 million in funding, which we’re using to build Beekeeper 2.0! With this next step in our journey to become the leading platform for frontline workers, we’re looking forward to the opportunity to innovate and expand our features to better serve frontline and essential workers.
We’re also grateful for the recognition we’ve received from GetApp, a Gartner company that delivers data-driven software recommendations and insights to businesses. Beekeeper was named a category leader in three different GetApp categories: Internal Communications, Instant Messaging & Chat, and Remote Work.
The ranking shows how real users value apps in various categories. Beekeeper scored #2 in both Internal Communications and Instant Messaging & Chat, ahead of many other popular apps on the market. This acknowledgment, coupled with the success of our Series B extension, has made us even more excited to continue the work we’re doing to unlock the potential of frontline workers and build the cutting edge technology that makes their day to day work lives easier.
Here’s how Beekeeper performed in the three different categories tracked by GetApp:
1. Internal Communications (#2 out of 81)
Employees can send out and receive updates across different locations, while administrators can use the analytics tools to better improve engagement. An open API allows companies to implement application integrations easily to fully customize the tool to their needs. All this empowers users and makes Beekeeper a favorite for internal communications.
2. Instant Messaging & Chat (#2 out of 148)
Beekeeper’s instant messaging capabilities are designed to retain the collaborative nature of texting while enhancing company-wide communication, particularly for frontline employees. The news feed keeps everyone up to date with announcements and news.
With QR code onboarding, employees can onboard without an email address or password. For a truly collaborative experience, Beekeeper allows one-on-one and group messaging. Its ease of use and inclusive features give Beekeeper the top spot among business chat applications.
3. Remote Work (#8 out of 213)
As remote work continues to be the new normal, Beekeeper’s features are designed to improve communication for teams scattered in different locations and employees that are always on the go.
Beekeeper speeds up onboarding and training with automated workflows and mobile access to resources. Integration and automation features give remote teams the flexibility to create their own custom workspace.
Digital polls and surveys measure employee satisfaction to help reduce turnover. Beekeeper takes care of challenges that come with working remotely and earns its place among the best tools for remote teams.
GetApp’s unbiased and data-driven rankings show that our user-first approach is resonating. As Beekeeper 2.0 gets underway, we’re excited to continue evolving and growing as we help shape the technology landscape for frontline workers around the world.
